I bought a Voltas Vertis elite 1.5 window AC last month from Efficient Cooling System , Gurgaon. Inspite of me asking for a latest piece, he handed me a unit which was an year old. I trieed to reason out with him , but then gave up as he was very rude ( thelocals out here are very rude in general).
Anyway.. the AC was installed the next day and it worked fine for a while. But of late I have been noticing that the unit is designed in such a way that the water get collected at a corner in the AC. The water outlet is very high so water can’t drain from there. So when the fan runs, it sucks in the water collected at the corner and spreads it throughout the unit. I fear that this might damage some electrical unit in the AC. On asking the shop-owner he said that this is how Vertis Elite is designed. I am confused and don’t know what to do.
