I purchased Vertis platina AC 1.5 on recommendation of the local dealer. We are working professionals and were ready to spend extra bucks for the quality. But to our utter disappointment the AC was one of the poorest thing that we ever bought. The cooling was a crap. It was installed in the smallest room of our house and took ages to cool despite of full insulation and no direct sunlight in the room.
Next comes the service. We made innumerous calls to the service centre no was greeted us for no reason and wasted precious long minutes of my life. I recieved no service. On calling the dealer, he somehow managed to send the service person at my place. This is how my due free service was done. The service person said the gas was leaking and needed to take it to the service centre. After a week the AC was delivered back. The Ac started to perform worst than ever and on calling the servicemen would avoid for months together.
As I said my being a busy professional time was a constraint and I somehow gave a visit to the dealer who sent the service person to my place. This time again he said the gas was leaking when not even a month had passed. He said he would return later with equipments which didnt happen. On making a complaint they said as earlier complaint is ’pending’ they cannot make another one would was ridiculous. Somehow I managed to bring the serviceman to my place who refused to fill the gas as one year had passed since the purchase. I said the AC carried warranty for 5 Yrs but he refused to budge. I made written complaints to the head office email ids copies of which I can produce but recieved no reply and the AC still is not repaired.
I would never ever recommend VOLTAS to anyone henceforth.
