I have purchased voltas 1.5 ton AC on 30th July 2017. I am facing issues with the AC since last year. Within 2 days we found that there is some issue with the AC as we tried to on it. We registered a complaint with the customer care and within 1 day a technician visited our home. He said that its PCP is not working and we should get one coating done so that there will be no issue with the AC for at least for 5 years. We paid him Rs 500 for that coating and got it done. The technician then asked subordinates to take the AC along with them.
We got the PCP replaced and coating did within 2 days. We switched on the AC to check and found that the PCP is still not working. Then again the technician took the AC with him and assured that he will again replace the PCP. I requested one of your customer care executives to replace the AC as within 2 days of installation we were faced with these issues. The customer care assured that they will help us and will get the defected part replaced.
The next day, the technician got the PCP replaced and installed the AC at my home and it was working fine. We used it for a month and switched it off as the climate was changing. After one or two months we requested for the AC service and it was done from your end and the technician visited and got it done.
As one service was due, I called up the customer care executive and requested for the servicing to be done. The technician visited the same day, ie, yesterday and told my parents that we need to get the coating done as it will save the AC life and the AC will work well for atleast 5 years. His words were "Sir, aapke AC main leakage hai and iski coating karwalo toh sahi rahega and iska PCP bhi kharab hai. Aap yeh sb sahi karwalo aur Nishchint rahiye Sir, aapka AC coating k baad bilkul sahi chalega."
Again to highlight "he said, there is leakage with the AC, coating needs to be done and PCP is not working. Now, I would like to ask you guys a question, when we got this coating done, your executive said it will work well for at least 5 years and we got the PCP replaced twice after purchasing it and now again the PCP is not working and we paid him Rs 800 yesterday.
Its a new AC and I am facing the issue since I purchased it. I have earlier requested your customer care executives to replace the AC and they assured that there is no need to replace the AC only PCP will get replaced.
I have used 1.5 LG AC earlier for 8 long years and never faced any issue.
Now "I WANT TO GET THE AC REPLACED" or I will take legal actions against it as I am now fed up with this AC. Strange that you have a mail id vserve@voltas.com. I dont understand is this the way you serve your consumers. I trusted voltas for the first time and faced the worst experience. There is a famous quote "First impression is the last impression" in your case, the quote should be "OUR FIRST IMPRESSION ON YOU(customers) WILL BE THE WORST IMPRESSION".
