Hi there everyone I purchased the Volvo V40 cross country 2017 model from martial motors in Bangalore. The car is excellent I would say compared to its fierce rival the Mercedes Benz A class. Hands down the V40 is a much powerful car than the A class based on my experience as I have used the A class previously. The seating comfort is best in class as you never get tired of long distance journeys. I have traveled from Bangalore to Mumbai also Bangalore to Kanyakumari at a stretch and honestly I wasn’t tired. The car has a good pulling power as it’s powered by a 2.0L turbo charged diesel engine with 160BHP. The main reason I went for the Volvo is because after sales service of Volvo is cheaper compared to any of the luxury car manufacturers. I used to shell out nearly 90K to a lack for the service of my A class and service is required twice a year. and any spares or dents or minor problems they replace the entire unit for a extremely high price so service of Mercedes Benz is very high however didn’t face any problem with service of Volvo as entire service is done within 30K and spares are very affordable too considering the car and the company. Mileage is around 13 in city and around 16 on the highway. And the car is equipped with a lot of safety features and feels extremely safe and secure even at speeds above 190+.
