City of temples

Hi guys, I had a trip to Vrindavan this summer it is at the heart of Braj, is especially reverted aming the Hindus as the olace where lord krishna spent his childhood. for Delhites like me it is an easy weekend getaway being just 100 km from the capital. We went early in the morning because all the Temples gets closed after 1: 30pm and will reopen at 5pm.

the oldest temple in vrindavan is Bankey bihari temple. you can go to goverdhan parwat also. you can do parikrama by your car.

The first phase of parikrama is 12 Km and other 10km .

you can visit Dwarikadheesh temple.

Prem mandir on the next day.

visit to Barsana, Nandgaon, Gokul and Iskon temple.

They all are really beautiful and worth visiting.

The old ghats along the Yamuna are quite interesting for those with an eye for antiquity.
