This has happened twice with us.We had booked the tickets online.The bus dint turn up the time it was supposed to come to the boarding time.We received a message on our mobile "Thank you for boarding the bus at Gandhinagar, have a safe journey" wherein we were still waiting for the bus at the boarding point.They asked to board a rickshaw in the late night and informed that they will bear the expenses for the same which they denied.
The passengers were old and it was troublesome for them to travel all the way to Gandhinagar to board the bus .They were new to Bangalore.On reaching VRL depot at Gandhinagar. They said that it stops at Girias where they do the loading and off loading .When we informed the pain which we had gone through, the agents acted too smart stating that it was our problem and we dont have any boarding point from where we booked in spite of they having an agency for the same.
Those agents instead of showing gratitude were telling us that they dont have a boarding point there and we should argue with the so called online agent goibibo.They said that we dont have the courtesy inspite of keeping the bus stopped for us.
Government buses are always better to travel. At least they have respect for everyone.
VRL doesnt know how to treat their customers, They forget basics that its customers who run their business.
The next time the same incident repeated and we made it a point never to use the private buses to travel in the late night.VRL should know how to treat their customers.
They have definetly lost one customer and I am sure they will loose many more by the way they are treating their customers.
And please book ur tickets with goibibo since they also dont take any accountability of their booked tickets, when we called them instead of apologizing they said that the passengers have already boarded the bus and what is the point of arguing now.is this the way customer service works .I think this happens only in India.
Always used to feel proud to be an indian now feeling ashamed to be one.
