VSNL - should be appreciated for its efforts making it convenient for net lovers to get the facility, of course the pioneer co in providing this service. The product is cheap comparing to other Service providers. Other service providers provide a low Qty package first and then the real problem starts.
I was going through my MS pals’ review, who mentioned that Satyam is available on CD and then you have to go on clicking for registration. But, I have tried two times but no use, both the times it had problems and I could not use those connections. (ofcourse, they were gift CDs) Coming to VSNL registration process also it is good. However, they have to appoint more Dealers and Agents to sell the installation kits
Coming to customer service, VSNL has a good service comparing to most of the other service providers. I do agree in some places it might not be correct, including the nodes managed by BSNL.
Speed This normally good but it depends on the Telephone Exchange where you are located. Within the Bombay I have seen the diff in speed at my place and my friends place. It depends on the bandwidth and the capacity of the exchange where the person is located. I feel it is not correct to blame any ISP for this factor.
The entry of Tata management may improve the customer service front, which was always blamed.
Finally I strongly recommend to go for this product.
