My review is based on my experience with ISP’s other than VSNL, extensive use of VSNL dial-up and opinions of close friends and relatives. VSNL though has the tag of a Public Sector Unit has no close challenge as far as Internet connectivity is concerned. I rate this opinion based on my personal experience since 1996. I rate it the best for the foolowing reasons-
The best connectivity among other ISPs.
VSNL is also taking the lead in reducing the price and improving competition.
Easy payment/renewal options.
The only drawback is the poor service of its staff, but then I rarely require their support.
Yes till other ISPs improve in all areas it is better to stick to VSNL
