Now I have to be honest with you....
This is not one of their best albums...
Let me be a little more honest.....
This is their LEAST best album (Don’t expect me to say ’’worst’’ please.... The Crans are my life)
However, this album contains some of the BEST songs I’ve heard of theirs’...
a) Never Grow Old : This Song is TOTALLY amazing.... It takes you to heaven.... One of their best openers....And also sets the mood of the album.... ’’Happy-go-lucky’’
b)Analyse : Amazing single... amazing song..... one of their all time favourites and very similar to their 2nd Single, Dreams..... The first video shot for this song was ssoo similar to the WTC incident(9/11) that it had to be pulled off air and an edited video launched.....
c) Time is Ticking Out : Not a very good single.... I love the track because I’ve heard it ssoo many times and you’ll love it too, after listening to it about 10 times.... but not something that you’d like on the first listen.... The song deals with common problems of Global Warming etc. and is an appeal to politicians to save the world for the future generations....
d) Dying Inside : you will most probably not like this song... The lyrics are AMAZING... MIND BLOWING.... but the music is quite dull..... I guess the end of the song is quite nice, as there is a change in her tone, but most of the track is rather monotonous.... But hey! That doesn’t stop ME from loving it!!
e) This Is The Day : GREAT Single..... Excellent track! Blood pumping music... really gets you jumping... Dolores looks Awesome in the video with long black hair(for a change)......
f) The Concept : I find this track very sexy... it’s nothing like what the crans have done before.... very different and unique.... may take a few listens before you like it, but once you do, you can’t get it out of your head....
g) Wake Up And Smell The Coffee : This song starts with a haunting beat... which goes on for about half a minuite.... it’s relevance, I’m not aware of...
But when the actual track starts, it blows you away....I LOVE this track... it’s a pity that it wasn’t released as a single... The lyrics are very interesting, though confusing.... but the track totally deserves to be the title track....
h) Pretty Eyes : This song was written about the Lead singer’s daughter Molly..... well, when molly grows up, she’ll be upset to find that the song that she inspired isn’t the best on the album... infact, it’s quite boring... poor child! But cheer up molly..... I love that track!
i) I Really Hope : This song was tipped to be a single... I’m not surprised! It ROCKS! The fans LOVE this track and it really gets the crowd jumping....
j) Every Morning : I LOVE this song... it is GOOD pop! Infactm this track was performed AMAZINGLY on a live radio show.... It was written when Dolores was learning how to drive (at the age of 28-30).... Lyrics might sound silly, but it really cheers you up....
k) Do You Know : To be honest, I don’t like this track too much..... I guess it’s because of the rythm.... Lyrics sound good though! But not a popular track....
l) Carry On : I LOVE this track... it’s a sort of a sad song but none the less melodious, and truly wonderful.... One of my all time favourites....
m) Chocolate Brown : The actual album ends on this track.... a sad song again, very much liked by the fans, though I never found it too great.... who knows you might...
It’s about how she felt when she had to tour, and thought that she was neglecting her responsibilities towards her son....

n) Salvation (Live from Paris) : An amazing performance before a very energetic crowd in Paris.... can also be found on ’’Beneath The Skin - Live in Paris (DVD)’’
Every fan loves this track and I’m sure that you will too!
o) In The Ghetto - A VERY good cover of one of Elvis’s all time favourites... I love this track... You will too!

q) Cape Town : Awesome music, pathetic lyrics about her journey in South Africa.... I LOVE the track, despite its Cheesy Lyrics......
r) Such A Waste : Sure deserved to be a B-Side! I don’t like it too much but the lyrics are VERY good!
I didn’t want to write a review on this (because I am forced to be honest with you all and can’t say that all the tracks are great) but I feel obliged to!
If you don’t feel like wasting Rs. 475 on the CD, but the tape.... but hey... Music World sells it at Rs. 350 now and then.... it’s worth that much atleast.....

s) 7 Years : This song apparently has a ’’country-like’’ tinge to it.... it’s supposedly very unique... but no-one except the band and a few others have heard it... god knows if we ever will....
