Honestly telling I was scared because of KARAN JOHAR. I especially don’t watch his movies but fortunately I watched this movie. So, directors if Karan can Wake up why can’t you. No offence to karan fan it’s my personal view.
I find a few movies really interesting nowadays and kind of “stick to” movies. I would you will enjoy every bit of it and movie will keep you fasten.
It’s a real good example of a team work; you should see how simple they made it a nice movie. Plot was good nothing extraordinary and director made it look really nice. Actors have done nice work. As usual Konkana Sen was superb, Rahal Khanna was dashing(and a looser:( one more time), Ranbir was a big surprise for me, very first time I saw his movie and his work was fabulous. Ranbir is young, very refreshing face. You won’t see any heroism here. He had played his role quite naturally and effortlessly, you will enjoy his act.
Movie doesn’t have any message or charismatic story. It’s a story of Sid, a normal guy who just love to chill out, a lazy and immature guy, doesn’t has ambitions in life. Eventually he meets Alisha(a Bengali girl came to Mumbai with lots of big ambitions).
In his kiddies attitude Sid had a fight with parents and left his house. After that he starts living with Aisha. From there, his life takes a big turn and he faces hard realities of life and gradually learns to cope up with all the troubles.
In parallel, Aisha starts her career as writer in “Mumbai Beats” magazine and she meets Rahul Khanna there. Alisha starts liking her boss Rahul and thereafter Rahul also finds her interesting but they couldn’t really make it.
Alisha and Sid have two entirely different mentality and attitude towards life. In almost half of the movie they were all together in different path but in last Sid any how manage to win her heart and like all other typical Indian movies they fall for each other. In last everything gets settle for them and movie ends with lots of smiles.
