I was very impressed by the number of books, toys, education tools etc. which were available at Waldens. Waldens is located near Somajiguda and Crosswords at Shoppers stop. The prices were also very reasonable. I bought some educational books for the kids and payed about Rs 280 each. They also have educational tools, like school posters and learning aids. As for magazines and periodicals, there is a wide assortment. Anything from Photography to Sports to Travel guides. I’m sure if there is a particular magazine that you are looking for, Waldens would be able to order it.
The toy section was vast and offered a great variety.
My wife shopped here on a regular basis after work since it was on her way home. She bought most of her stationery for her office from this store. Unlike some book stores which I visited, you can actually touch and read the books while browsing. But, there wasn’t enough people for assistance. Waldens is one of the better book stores in Hyderabad.
