This is a three hour long film straight from the heart. It is a family drama. Vipul Shah’s emotional arrow shoots directly into the hearts and lodges itself comfortably. Its natural clearness of purpose and sincerity of expression guide the lengthy family story.
This is not the first film about a father-son conflict. Shah is respectful to both without buckling under the pressure of delivering striking punches in every sequence. The background spreads itself out in a heart-warming episodes between a rich father Ishwar(Amitabh Bachchan) and his spoilt son Aditya Thakur(Akshay Kumar), who learns to be a responsible man the hard way. The picturization and the music attracted the audience. The story is all about a father who wants to see his son as responsible and useful. In this film, Amitabachhan is the owner of toys factory. He becomes milliner with his hard work. But his only son Akhshay Kumar, is more irresponsible guy and spends a lot for nothing. He fells in love with Pooja(Priyanka chopra) and marries her without permission of his parent and brings her to his residence. Although the parents get shocked with his marriage father blesses the couple because of love and affection on his son. Father fed up with irresponsible behaviour of son though he is married. Get throws his son out of his house and asks him to earn his own bread and butter. The son gets angry with his father and start living in the guest house along with his wife. As his wife is pregnant by that time, he starts searching jobs. He tries every where, at last finds a job and he start earn money. The story ends with the good climax. Comedy in this movie is excellent. The joking between Bachchan and Boman Irani(Adithya’s father-in-law) is broght miles of smiles. Team funnymen Boman Irani and Rajpal Yadav together and you are assured a barrel of laughs.
Amitabh and Akshay share a warm on-screen companionship. Amitabh does justice to the role but this certainly is not one of his best. Akshay kumar and priyanka did well. Priyanka Chopra has done so much for that.The music was melodious. I liked all songs. You can enjoy this movie with family.
