Starring Big B, Akshay Kumar & Priyanka Chopra, one would expect a chair glueing movie. apart frm the screen presence of Big B & sm humor by the side roles the movie certainly is not worth the hype.
It is a clear cut case of building extraordinary expectations to the movie buff & this leads to further disappointment. Exhibition of Shefali Shetty as Big Bs wife is an unwarranted choice who looks like Big Bs daughter and Akshays elder sister.
The songs are not in sync with the scenes. The little tit bits of humor & Big Bs screen presence saves some grace for the movie. The costumes are well chosen and the background sets have been chosen well. Archies enjoys a wonderful media exposure, a worthy investment for marketing the brand with Big B.
The movie has no plot and the story is no extraordinary one. its old wine in a new bottle which actually would have done well in a short story television program of 30 minutes. It has been stretched beyond proportion to fit a 2 hour plus duration making the viewer completely bored as the whole sequence is predictable.
There is no doubt as to why the collections dropped within the first week of release for this high hyped movie
