We got him!! Got who ??

Come December 13, the whole world saw a bearded Saddam, held captive by the Americans. While there were cries of celebrations in and around Iraq, President Bush was elated of course, with his popularity ratings going high.

What President Bush really should have been looking for is the weapons of Mass destruction, rather than doing a man hunt for a dethroned dictator, who is of no use anymore, either to the people of Iraq, or to the people of the US proclaimed ’’Free world’’. Where then, are the weapons, if I may at liberty ask so.

In new York, There is crime rate going at an all time peak high, and President Bush, hardly bothered to take those teens off the streets to rehabilitate them, rather millions of tax payers money has been held at stake just so that we can catch hold of a man, true to his convictions of being a dictator, leading the people of Iraq, hiding in a deep ’’spider hole’’, and at this we the people of US are supposed to be proud of.

Recollect the past - we have been involved with Vietnam, when it isn’t our War. Gulf war was just another feather in the cap for Uncle SAM. It still wasn’t our war. 9/11 was a tragic. What then, I may ask President Bush, are you going to console the families of those 3000 victims. Even as we speak, there are so many of our kids unprotected in our own homeland, that we had to go and have Iraq at our dictates, and invite future trouble with Islamic Fundamentalists.

When I have heard of a certain ’’goondaism’’ in Bombay, Factions in Andhra Pradesh, the gangs in New York, Chicago and LA, I get angry. No one should and no one can threaten an individual’s freedom. But what President Bush seems to say is, it’s Ok as long as it is not our territory. When a war is conceded, the first thing to be done was to minimize the casualties. Needless to say this detail was ignored.

We, being a US national have this privilege of being protected by our government, no matter where we go. All we have to do is mention that ’’I am a citizen of the United States’’. If President Bush’s purpose of invading Iraq, was to free the people of Iraq, why then, casualties have not been worked out. President Bush - I ask you to answer this, if you can. But then you can’t. You have the privilege of being ’’protected’’ since you are the president of the United States. You are more concerned about the people of Iraq, than your own people on home grounds. You have more concern of keeping and living up to your own pride , that you are hardly bothered that this country also need resources because , no matter how big and strong we are, we still have children going to bed, hungry without education.

You , Mr. Bush, hold the office of the president of the United States. If you do know what that means. It means you are responsible for the lives of the Citizens of the United States, and the Tax payer’s money. There should have been some more measure of caution in dealing with Iraq. Now I still stand on my question. After laundering so much of the Tax payer’s hard earned money, where are the weapons of Mass destructions?
