Better be safe than sorry

Cricket is a team game. Just imagine like in Sydney, India had drawn the test due to lack of time to finish off the Pakistani tail (on the 5th day), what crticism he would have attracted? The same people who are now saying that he did something wrong, would have been the first to criticise him for lack of foresight. Its always better to be safe than sorry.

Lets not criticise some one on hind sight. After all Rahul had taken a judgement based on available data. These included the placid nature of the pitch. Its sheer good luck for India that the Pakistani batsmen almost threw their wickets away by way of rash strokes, as well as the favourable decisions won by the Indian bowlers from the umpire. Else it could have jolly well been a photo finish. After all in all professions there exists somel hazard. Here the captains neck is always on the alter. Is it fair? The unnecessary row being kicked up by the third estate is destroying Team India’s spirit. Lets not look behind. Lets cheer our country to the first ever series win in Pakistan.
