From the beautiful mountains along the cascade range and olympic range of mountains to the gorgeous evergreen trees in the forests. Washington offers alot of scenery and is a beautiful state.
The mountains that are most widely known are Mt. St. Helens (which erupted on May 18, 1982) which can be seen along most of the Freeway corridor. Mt. Rainer can be seen over most of Seattle. When you get closer to the southern border (Oregon border) you can see Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams.
The Pacific Coast is also very beautiful. One of the most beautiful cities is Longview. Beach access is wonderful.
The city that I recommended to everyone is Vancouver (closest to oregon) It is about 3 hours from Seattle. There are alot of nice sit down restaurants and movie theatres. The Vancouver Lake and Columbia River are also very pretty.
So if you decide to come to washington be prepared to bring your camera. you can get some gorgeous and breathtaking sites especially sunset or sunsrise
