I had recently gone to watch the movie 1920 in waves. We asked for 3 tickets but the guy (one Pawan) on ticket counter pulled out 6 instead.
On being clarified, I was told to cough up the requisite amount and buy all 6 as he has already done the entry in system. I was appaled by such an utterly absurd logic or the lack of it. When we demanded our money back, we were told rudely to wait out of line and he will deal with it later. We refused to move out of line unless we got our money back and asked for manager.
To our great surprise, the guy gave us totally villanous looks and said that he can deal with such situations himself. Only when we resorted to the last option and decided to call the police did he call the manager. Mr. manager came and after hearing the whole thing decided that we should have read the instructions on the ticket counter which said something like" Check your tickets before leaving the counter".
On being told that this is the counter itself where we are standing and we havn’t left it yet did he ask the guy to return our money. By then, we had missed the starting 15 minutes of the movie. Same evening, I promptly dropped a mail in the feedback section of their website but got no response. This is an amazingly shameless attitude and the incident has left a bad taste in my mouth. Movies or no movies, i’m never returning to that place again.
