Bejoy Nambiar’s revenge drama contains all essential ingredients that a cinephile expects from a tout thriller: A non-conventional storyline, some shocking moments, a refreshing screenplay, high-octane action sequences and most importantly, the pace at which events start unfolding.
Concerning performances, Farhan-Bachchan on-screen chemistry deserves huge applause. Manav Kaul also imparts adequate depth to the antagonists character. John and Neil Mukesh also succeed in marking their impact as cameos.
The movie revolves around two revenge-seeking guys(An ATS operative and a chess genius) who come across each other, and how their lives get affected thereafter constitutes the core of this movie. Movie’s sound track/background score that helps maintain thrill quotient throughout its runtime emerges as another notable element. However, movie unexpectedly loses its grip as it approaches finish line. And Big B concocting a hypothetical story about the titular characterWazir can be guessed very easily i.e. quite predictable. Despite slightly disappointing climax, Wazir remains a three-star movie.
