BEWARE of’Ambitious Marketing’ - I had purchased a WD 1TB USB HDD from them through Amazon.com. When I received the item and connected it to my PC(and later to my Laptop) I discovered it to be defective and brought it to their notice. In response, I was asked to courier it to them so that they could send me a replacement of the same. I did so, but when I received their package in return, I was shocked to find that same defective item that I had returned to them has been sent back to me as it is."ambitious" indeed. Thankfully, I had noted down the serial no of the product and had also taken a photograph of the box which contained the item(the side where the bar code and all other technical details are mentioned). Can you imagine this? I suppose they consider all their customers to be complete morons. This is the height of cheating!
But the fact is, they have nothing to lose. People don’t know THEM, they know AMAZON. When asked where/which online shop an item has been purchased from, we always tell them the name of site, which, in this case, is AMAZON.COM. I suppose that’s the undue advantage vendors like Ambitious Marketing take. At the end of the day, the bad name is earned by Amazon and the product manufacturer.
