I think this review will help you. Recently we brought a WD Elements Basic Storage Stockage Simplement 3 TB for our hostel. But it stopped working in 1 month after purchase. This product has 3 year of warranty. We give it to the service center for servicing it. After that one month has been passed but still now they didn’t contact us. So, i am not satisfied with the service and product quality of wd.
I am totally shocked like, how they are assuring their product for three years, do not have the ability to running well for 1 month. I got very poor data transfer rate. So, i like to suggest you don’t buy this product.
