I bought this HDD from Amazon as my laptop was dying and needed to back up my important data. To my surprise this version of HDD I got came with a backup software and made my job super easy. The 3.0 proprietary USB cable came in very handy and transferred Gigabytes of data in a jiffy.
I am very happy with the performance the speed the portability. It has never let me down. Plus with 3 years replacement warranty I am set for a while.
The only thing I wish is they should offer some sort of data recovery services also.
