This was my first external hdd and to sum up my experience has been great I use it daily for large file transfer ( video files) and the read wirte speed is good and it didn't get slow even after loading a large amount of data and the time needed to find a file by its name was not affected that much and also the design of the hdd is also good and a very sturdy one will live up to every day wear and tear.The price of 2tb variant is also very good and for the price it is very goods also comes with a 5 year warranty from wd which is international thus helpfull if you travel a lot.
