I was always scared of external hard drives. What if the data I stored there somehow lost. Hence I had made a habit of using these devices as backup of already stored data on my pc. But one fine day, my WD passport hdd had a great fall from a great table and the parts came out.
Disappointed at the flimsy build quality, hopelessly, I reattached it an every thing fell into place in 5 seconds. It has been working fine ever since. No issue. I am now proud that my one tb ehdd is as safe as a pc. Maybe even more.
