WD My Passport Ultra 2 TB is very good portable hard drive which give good performance and had good speeds. The hard drive works very well with Windows and MAC.
To use with Mac you need to format it . It is directly plug and use with its software drivers getting installed. It comes in 3.0 port for faster read and write speeds.
Its available at a good price on many online shopping sites like amazon and flipkart at good price. You can also look for great deals if they are offering for the hard drive .
The build is sturdy and does not heat up much when copying huge amount of data from pc. I have a 1 TB Variant which I got from amazon and now upgrading it to 2 tb for more storage as I mostly have large Full HD video files and 4k video files also. The backup software is also really good of Western Digital if you have backed up you full data .I have always gone for WD hard drives for portability use and for my PC also.
