Firstly you have to keep your smartphone connected to the internet always if you want to access in computer, which is quite a big disadvantage. with wats app web user cannot create a group for chatting. this is again a big blow to their users. the user cannot change their account’s profile picture or cannot update new status. supported only for chrome browsers not for IOS. you cannot even create a new account with whats app web application which is possible only through app.
