We hosted our website with Web com India( http: // https://webcomindia.net/) a year ago and since then the website has been infected thrice. The last time it got infected, I asked the support staff to have it restore it from backup and this is what they said:
"We move your website to a new server and we do not have its backup"
My question was, is that my fault? . Secondly, when asked for an explanation on what is causing the infection so frequently, they said "Will update you shortly" - Watch out for this statement guys.this is seriously ill one from them. The website is still in bad shape and has been so since over 4 months.
The support staff specially person named "**Amit Sood**" seems to be having fun at the situation instead of understanding the pain and trying to help it. Theres no sense of ownership visible to me. Even when I asked this gentleman for next level of escalation, he kept saying "I will update you shortly" - which is sensless, this is usually tought the very first day at the organization during the induction. To me hes no way near to try to provide a logical explanation.

The purpose of sharing this feedback is to make people aware of doing their due diligance before they choose a website hosting provider and so save themselves from pain afterwards.
