Wednesday- a movie which attracted me to the threatre because of the star cast. After a long time, a movie with Naseerudin Shah is available and that too with Anupam Kher and the promos on TV did not mention any female star- First indication that I would be a good movie.
Wednesday -the plot, story makes you jammed on the seats. It starts as a crime thriller, soon you want to know what happens to the bomb or to the public and in the last fifteen minutes -it comes out with a soul stirring social message !
The cast has done full jusctic to the stroy- Anupam Kher, Shah, Shergill. The speed at which the movie moves is excellent.The director has not tried to fill in odd songs or item number etc. Each character has been given a definate role and each one of them has handled that well.
All in all a great movie -not to be missed out. You get one such movie once in a life time.I am reminded of a famous couplet that is so apt for this movie--**Hazaron baras** Naris apni benuri. pe roti hai. Bad mushkil se hota hai chaman. mein deedawar paida.
