I guess, within the confines of the weekly business grind, where we constantly look for cause, effects, processes etc, this weekend 2-hour period that kills logic to extinction, is a kindly break. One really does not need to worry if the villain in scene number 5, who casually shoots a guy, JLT, will actually harm our lovable comedian hanging from the top floor , whos falling shoe hits the villains friend. What is even more amazing is the absolute ease in which the hero tries to lecture a Global Don, to change his ways and become good, while the much feared villain actually lends an eager ear. Since the story has nothing to warrant accolades, we might as well congratulate the Nana-Anil duo who simply walked away with all the smiles and cheers.
The charisma and elan shown by the twosome throughout the movie was unexpectedly rocking and refreshing. Akshay was his usual charming self with the right amount of humor and romance thrown in, but did appear two shades lesser before the Patekar-Kapoor team. Paresh Rawal needs to pull up his sox and start working on a different model of delivery as he is starting to sound like a clone, movie after movie. Lesser said about the rest of the cast, the better, although, I am sure the eye candy bit was supplied to satisfaction by Katrina. A good two hour Sunday Siesta Movie...you can always snooze if bored!!!
