I keep frequenting this hotel as part of my territory. Staying here since 2003. The quality and standards of service are unchanged over the years and maintained very high.
It has huge expanses of woods all around. There is a long driveway of half a kilometer from the main road to the hotel porch. The huge edifice of the palace of the erstwhile Maharao of Kota looms large at you with all its silent splendour. The enormity of the place is accentuated by the quiteness and lull of the mystifying atmosphere.
The rooms are amazingly spacious, since the hotel is converted from a Palace. You get to sleep in a large room with wooden flooring. You have the luxury to change clothes in an adjoining dressing room, which is quite spacious. It has a royal wooden coat hanger stand with small drawers for cufflings, tie-pins etc. The adjoing bathroom is super large with top of the chart fittings. The toiletries provided are of Biotique and give out a subtle aroma of herbs.
If you do not feel like going to the restaurant, the room service lays out the breakfast in style. Eating in the large quite room is also a treat you enjoy over the morning news on TV. You almost forget that you are here for business.
The front office boys are agile, polite and helpful.
All in all a great place to relax while on work!
