Customer service has always been an area that I have been critical of since I moved to India. I just always seem to strike out in that area. So I was very pleasantly surprised when I received world class customer service from Westside, Not just at one branch but at two branches at opposite ends of the city at two separate occasions. In my first experience, I needed to change a pair of shorts I bought. What made this exchange special?, I was unable to go to the store and needed it to be exchanged urgently, as my husband was leaving to the US that night. I called the branch I bought it from(Forum - Koramangla) and was told that they were out of the size that I was looking for.
However the manager did not stop there, he informed me of the stores in the area that still carried the size I was looking for. When I told him I was unable to go to said stores, he immediately offered to have one of this associates pick it up and deliver it to my home. What made this all the more wonderful, is that it was after 6pm and at 9 pm I had a Westside associate ringing my door bell, delivering the much sort after size. I must admit, I did not really expect anyone to actually show up so I was extremely delighted when I was proved wrong. My second experience was more recent . I needed 20 jute bags(the little ones) sold by Westside.
The store I was at, only had 5. I needed it for my son’s birthday party the following weekend. The manager of the store in question( Banerghatta Road) not only tracked down more bags, he also had them picked up from the other stores, And had it delivered to my home on a Sunday. WOW! Well done Westside! . What an amazing service.I will definitely be visiting your stores a lot more often.
