I shopped at Westside and was given a scratch and win coupon promising an audi A4, among other things.
However, the scheme of the promo are so stupid as to make it worthless. There are 4 prizes mentioned and customers are supposed to send sms individually for each prize. The scheme is only for sms junkies and apparently westside wants to earn through silly people who continue to send sms messages to them. Each sms costs Rs 5(plus service tax) so the attempt is to make 5 bucks from unsuspecting customers, . This is hardly a promotion scheme but to befool the customer.
Whoever thought of this scheme is a jerk, and frankly, it does not suit a store like Westside to come up with these silly schemes.
