Whale Song was, Cheryl Tardifs first book. She is a member of MouthShut.
My Review
The time this book took place is in the 1970s, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Sarah Richardson, was born in the United States, but is now living in Canada.
A terrible tragedy leaves here with partial amnesia. She has to regain her memory and face why she has forgotten them.
Our First Nations tell legends is about whales and a yellow-eyed wolf. During the night they come to help her.
In the end it all becomes clear, but you will have to read the book to know about it.
What I Thought
Cheryl develops her characters very well. As I was reading this book I found my self crying.
I enjoyed the way she blended the myths and reality.
This book is about different cultures, and how some people dont like the people who are not the same as they are.
Youll meet bullies who make you mad, and people that will make you happy.
This story is what I always believed in, the truth will set you free!
