If you are looking for a chick flick, here is a great one to watch with the girls. It’s very girly and you won’t be disappointed. I did notice, some of the guys asking questions and looking at the movie from the other room as they did their guy things. A couple of them even ask if she had her baby yet. They would have been more than welcome to join us, but because they thought it was a chick flick they stayed in the other room and did their guy things.
This is about a girl, who is very unlucky with the number 5. She winds up getting dumped by her boyfriend at a Walmarts. If the number 5-5-5 shows up, she always runs into some form of bad luck. I will admit, the movie gets off to a slow start, but after the first twenty minutes you will be glued to the screen.
She decides to take shelter at Walmarts, until she has her baby.
When it comes time for the baby to be delivered, the librarian she has met comes smashing through the window to rescue her. After delivering the baby, she will be nationally known as the girl who had a baby at Walmarts. She receives tons of support from around the world, receiving gifts, flowers and even money. Money that is sent to her, she gives to her mother who she hadn’t seen in years, only for her mother to run off with it. She will find shelter with two nice people until there death when she will inherit money to build her own home with for her and her daughter.
Ashley Judd, befriends the Walmart girl after the baby is born. They meet in the hospital and become instant friends. Ashley Judd plays a young woman with several kids who gets abused by men. The Walmart girl will later help her out of a tremendous rut.
The movie turns into a a very nice love story that will melt your heart girls. Rent it on a night when you need a chick flick to watch with your girlfriends.
