Worst Refrigerator Ever I Purchased

THE PRODUCT DETAILS -


Purchased Model: Whirlpool IFPRO INV CNV PLATINA 355-2S / 340L REF Azure-Steel


Purchase Date: 17/06/2023

This review is based on the above model Double Door Refrigerator (Whirlpool IFPRO INV CNV PLATINA 355-2S / 340L REF Azure-Steel )


Well, in a single word if you ask me to share my experience it is "PATHETIC"


It was the worst decision of us to choose Whirlpool as a brand for Refrigerator.


ln a single sentence - The product and the after sales services, both are very very disappointing. And we decided to move to the consumer court shortly.


From the very beginning, we faced several issues. After one week, the Refrigerator start malfunctioning in following ways -


ISSUES-


1) There is a terrifying sound started after some intervals. And there is no specific time of occurrence. This horrific sound will not let you sleep. The duration may be for 3 hours or maybe 6 hours.


2) There is Abnormal Sweating outside as well as inside the Refrigerator. Even in Deep Freezer also. Due to this the top portion of the Refrigerator door always gets wet and water logged.


3) The Vegetables and all the cooked food got frozen inside the Refrigerator, where as the Refrigerator set in Manual LOW mode.


4) Even in medium or high mode, there are sweating inside the deep freeze, which later formed as hanging ice inside the deep freezer.


5) There is no way to remove the excessive water which deposited in the back tray. As a result the room get flooded. (The technician suggest to use a manual pump to suck the water out). But in past we used Godrej, BPL, where the tray was easy to remove when filled with water. If this is the only way to remove water , then Whirlpool should provide that adequate equipment in time of purchase.


We started lodging call and the technician attended all the time. But no solution achieved.


One of them told me in time of visit , that this particular model is newly launched and several issues are reported from many owners. Hence they have nothing much to do from their end. But they also told me, they can’t give this statement in written in service book.


One day service centre told, they will replace the PCB board, which may resolve the issue.


But after PCB board replacement, no issues had been resolved yet till date.


But I like to tell the worst part now - after several try and error, I mailed the entire story to Whirlpool customer care and few concerned person. After few mail they stopped responding.


And whenever I lodge a complaint, the ticket raised by automated system, but no technician visited till date. All the problems still persist from the beginning. And no technician is attending.


I have all the proof of service records and email conversations, which will be produced in time of trials in consumer court.


I request everyone who have decided to purchase Whirlpool Refrigerator, please stay away from their products. They are nothing but a cheater.


Also the service centre technicians do not have much skill and they always try to solve the problem temporarily.
