I had purchased 2 Whirlpool ACs from EZone, Jayanagar, Bangalore(Aviator and Chrome 1 ton each and both 5 star rated) on 9th May 2010. I understand Whirlpool has outsourced the services to some local contractors. I must say the service level is pathetic. Even the customer care folks do not bother to take the requests or complaints seriously. There is no follow up call to check if installation is completed or if I need a Demo or the first service that is given in the first month of purchase. The contractors used for installation will advise the worst option just to increase the cost and gain more money. Finally I had to engage the installers from Ezone who charged me atleast 50% less than Whirlpool folks. Next challenge was to get the Demo and 0 month service. I made a dozen calls to Whirlpool Customer care and EZone 2 weeks after purchase. I have yet not got the demo nor any call from the Customer care folks explaining the delay. I was going to purchase the 405 liters Whirlpool fridge this month. After experiencing this service level I would rather go for LG or Samsung, who may be better than Whirlpool on service front.
