We have purchased an Whirlpool AC during May 2013 FROM ELECTROPOINT DEALER which had a warranty of 1 year. We have used it for 4 months and during winter we didnt used it.
Now when in February, we tried to start, it was not cooling. We tried to contact the dealer and the whirlpool, but no RESPONSE FOR A WEEK. After that the person from the Whirlpool company person came and told us that we dont have time. Then he told that there is a gas leakage and we will come the other day.
But again for 4 days no one came and then we got the call from the whirlpool company person saying that the installation was done by the dealer and thats why we dont own you anything. You have to pay for the gas charges.
We tried contacting the dealer and they told us the gas leakage is chargeable and the company person does not know. We are really getting harassed now. We are planning to go for customer grievance cell .
Dont every buy from ELECTROPOINT DEALER OR WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS AS YOU WONT GET ANY SERVICE AND EVEN IF THE WARRANTY PERIOD IS NOT OVER, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE CHARGES FOR THE SAME AS BOTH THE WHILRPOOL COMPANY PERSON AND THE ELECTROPOINT DEALER IN SABARMATI - MOTERA ROAD ARE CHEATERS AND THEY JUST WANT TO TAKE MORE MONEY FOR THEIR SERVICES.
