My 3-4 year old Whirlpool Ice Magic 230L DLX door hinge failed and I reported it to customer care. The service engineer visited and said the part is not readily available, it needs to be ordered & will fix the door once the part arrives. Its been more that 2 months, we heard only stories on part arrival, but no fix till date. Customercare inefficient & is not bothered about the customers.
In my opinion, Whirlpool products are less durable & customer service is really worst & pathetic. I have many LG products at my home, never faced major problems in last 10 years and for the few issues I had, service personnel came & fixed within a day which is commendable.
