Whirlpool: Pathetic Customer Service engineers

To write a review I did’nt had time due to busy schedule, but as I have already and still suffering due to this whirlpool product Whirlpool Ice Magic 230L DLX I need to write it. I purchased it in March 2006. It suddenly stops cooling and ice formation. When I complaint to customer care they sent me some sms and satisfaction code for engineer.


Their engineer visited and examined the fridge and told their repairing engineer will come and fix the issues which he has noted.He took Rs 285/- as visiting charges. Later after few days there repairing engineer arrived and apart from the points the visiting engineer had told he told to get the compressor replaced as it is in warranty.I got everything done and for gas filling I had to spent Rs 750/- as charged by them.So after spending around Rs1035/-


I thought now atleast there will be no issues......but to my surprise within 2 weeks the same issues started again.I called their engineers and asked- why after compressor replacement and other works still the fridge is not functioning.They told they will come and see but no one turned. When after few days I asked there customer care they said that I again had to pay visiting charges Rs 285/- as one month has passed for previous request, I was not understanding why they are doing this.


Again their engineer visited my place charged rs 285/- he suggested to buy stabilizer, I asked the price he said Rs 1550/- he said he will send an executive who will sell it to me.But for 2 months noone came and the issues continued many food items were rotten due to this.Later I had to again raise a request and then again there executive took Rs 285/- and Rs 1550/- for giving stabilizer for the fridge.Even after getting the stabilizer I face same issues and am afraid to call them again as there is no solution and they somehow cheat you and extract money for new parts. I get calls from them for things like biometer replacement etc., but not for the resolution of the non-cooling and ice not forming issues.


I just hate and curse WHIRLpool for I don’t know what was it I selected this product.It’s the worst service and cheating I have gone in my entire life.may god close this company by natural calamities and losses .BAD customer service, cheaters hired to loot the customer.Don’t go for it even if it is free.
