Horrible and delivery, wasted 3 leave waiting

I am one of those hapless people who had chosen to purchase a Whirlpool Microwave by redeeming points on the internet. I am based out of Bangalore and their distribution center seems to be an Nelamangla 30 kms away from Bangalore.


They have the most unprofessional, ignorant staff who have not consideration for the customer at all. One stray call came Thursday morning around 10 30 that the microwave will be dispatched by 2 PM to Malleshpalya. I didnt receive the same. So when I called up the number to check, it was another person who attended the call, he had no clue of the context so asked me for every detail, he then gave me phone number of a driver which turned out to be wrong.


After continuous calling and followup, at 5:00 PM I went to the rest room, when I returned I saw a couple of miscalls, to my utter shock I realized that it was a call from the whirlpool driver. When call back, he didnt answer the call and when I called up their office, they informed me that the driver has already left. So much for wasting the whole day waiting for the consigments and these "babu" transporters couldnt have waited a mere 10 mins.


After that I called up and I was assured that it would be dispatched the next day i.e. Friday, once again I waited at home and in the afternoon, when I called the driver said he cannot deliver it since my house falls out of his route.


Today is Thursday(thankfully off for me), I called up in the morning to their depot and they confirmed that it will be delivered by 4 30. It is nearly 1 PM now, I have cancelled y plan for day outing and waiting for the consigment. God alone knows whether this will ever reach me.


To all you people out there avoid online purchase of any Whirlpool items
