I have spoiled two precious holidays waiting for my microwave to arrive based on Whirlpools instructions. I purchased microwave online against some of my vouchers received from my organization. After waiting for nearly 2 weeks, finally I received a call yesterday at 10 30 in the morning. that the Microwave will be delivered by 2 PM. I called the office multiple times to confirm and eventually they confirmed that it will be delivered by 5 PM. I started waiting again and called the driver, he said he was stuck at Majestic which is nearly 20 km from my home and can make it only by 6 or 7.
I went to the rest room at 5 30, when I came out I saw a couple of missed calls on my phone.. I tried to reach the driver he was unreachable. I called the Nelamangla office number, the in charge said that the driver was in my area and tried to contact me, But since I didnt take the phone , he left.
Excuse me, I wasted my whole day waiting for this and my absence for 15 mins, the driver couldnt wait for me.I was extremely frustrated my whole day got wasted because of this extreme unprofessional behavior from Whirlpool reps; I was promised that the microwave would be delivered next day.
I was sitting and waiting for the microwave next day. In the absence of any call received, I myself called the office and to my utter shock and surprise I was told that the microwave will not be delivered today also because it falls out of the route.I am now 2 days less in my vacation balance due to some half baked unprofessional Whirlpool goons.
I am feeling helpless and do not know whom to approach to address this issue. I cannot keep waiting for ever for some driver to deliver my microwave. If whirlpool cant successfully handle fulfillment they should outsource it to someone more efficient. My recommendation Avoid it like the plague.
