Never ever buy this washing machine guys.
In 3 yrs, I have called upon the service company every month without fail and paid almost 10-15K towards the repair of this washing machine.
I had purchased the same in year 2010 and since then I have incurred huge maintenance cost on this machine. It has to be serviced at least once every month. The service companies do not do much investigation and each time want to replace a part which is not a cheap option.
This time, I got F1 error. I had called upon 2 service engineers from 2 different authorized service centers of Whirlpool and both of them had a separate diagnosis and remedy. One of the advised to replace the motor and the other one power board and both these parts were around 4000 Rs, they also offered it on 50% rebate if we were to buy personally from them.
Now I am wondering if Whirlpool has subcontracted their after sale to unprofessional/unethical agencies who just want to cheat and fool their customers by way of replacing the parts instead of finding the real issue.
If this is not taken seriously I will report this issue to consume court as I am a dissatisfied consumer who have suffered huge losses buying the Whirlpool product.
A huge warning: NEVER EVER BUY THIS PRODUCT. ITS A WAY TO KEEP THE SERVICE AGENCIES IN BUSINESS.
