Low Grade Product and Poor Service equals Whirpool

We had purchased a Whirlpool White Magic 123 in 2012.


Ever since this machine is full of problems time and again. Every few months there have been issues. The product quality is low grade and now to top it the service is even more pathetic.


The most recent one is related to the service request PN0116006495 we raised on Jan 25 2016. Three months after the complaint was lodged, the semi/unskilled service engineers are unable to resolve the issue. In fact they have introduced new issues due to the trial and error they are doing that has made this machine unusable.


The service engineers in their experiments have changed parts worth 12-13000, which I had to pay for and the result of all this is that after three months we have a piece of junk lying at home, that doesnt sense water level, if it ever does then it doesnt spin properly. A fully automatic machine has become a fully manual dhobighat!.


I have reached a point where I have to think of the huge amount spent on the machine as sunk cost. Scrap this piece of junk or sell it for a very low price and get a new machine from another manufacturer whom I can trust for product quality and service.


Shame on Whirlpool for the poor product quality and service.Half Star
