Five years back I purchased TVS-Whirlpool fully automatic Washing machine. That was the beginning of my nightmare. The machine carried 3 years warranty. During the warranty period the machine failed to work atleast 12 times and the technician had to be summoned. They performed some patchwork and the machine would start working for another 2 - 4 months. This problem continued. After the warranty the problem recurred again. This time the technician was smart. He suggested that the machine requires certain major replacement which would cost Rs. 9000/- plus. Well that is fleecing the customer for you. I decided to discard the machine instead of repairing and went ahead and purchased an LG fully automatic fuzzy logic washing machine. I can now proudly say that ’LG hai right choice Ha! Ha!’. I have lost all confidence on Whirlpool
