I bought this Washing machine some 4 Months ago. Initially had some problems with the washing machine and getting the services done by the Whirlpool service centre but finally managed to get the service done.
Pros
The Washing machine is one of its kind as for the first time the top loading machine has hot water mechanism. Till now only front loading washing machines had the hot water mechanism.
Whirlpool is using a different touch button panel. As per the claim made by the Dealer, if the touch panel change (in case it goes bad) will not be as costly as it is in other machines as there is just a sticker change that needs to be done and all is working for you.
The combinations provided for washing are really good and most of us will just need to choose proper settings and can get going to wash the clothes.
This washing machine remembers where to start again if there is a power failure.
Cons:
While selecting the program for wash, you need to choose the water level, which is then also tied up with the kind of dirty clothes you have. So if you choose to select the water level to medium and then you choose not so dirty clothes program, it will again reset the water level to High. So you need to choose the water level to medium again.
You cannot skip the programs. If I choose to wash very dirty clothes and I have completed the rinse program (30 min - 2cycles) and wish to have another single cycle of rinse (15min 1 cycle) I cannot do so. I will have to do that for whole 30 Min.
Overall, I am happy with the washing machine only few glitches here and there.
