I bought this machine in June 2008. Till now I have not got a single load cleaned to my satisfaction. After about a week, the clothes started stinking. Whatever dirt or residue from the clothes would be visible on them even after washing. After about two months, the machine managed to rip off most of my clothes. Whenever I call the serivce people, they tell me to reduce quantity of soap. As if, the quantity of soap has any connection to tearing the clothes.
After two years, we got rid of this machine and bought a front-loading machine.
I strongly do not recommend to buy this or any whirlpool machines. Their technicians are only interested in selling off their other accessories, like residue remover, cover for machine, etc. and are not at all interested or qualified to attend to your machine’s problems. They are also most interested in securing the customer satisfaction code from you. That is their main priority.
