This guy agrees for all his mistakes and yet says that he is not charging you more and blames it on somebody else.

But u guys now know it for sure from the below mail that he is not trying to own responsibility, but he is ready to make dough. Are there any Govt agencies to monitor such Mishaps?

Thank you for your mail. The stretch is 8 Kms. I cannot comment about the costing of the food, which is being brought from Banglore. We pay that much of amt to the caterer @ Bangalore, who supplies the same at the campsite. Actually there is a priority to CARE members, due to some confusion at the campsite, your rafting got delayed. Perhaps you are not aware of the details of the rafting being done @ sita and the the total cost a participant pays at end of the day. This place is around is 370 Kms from Bangalore. Till last year, I was operating the rafting event @ sita. The photographs shows the rafting activity only, definitely not the location. Regarding the riding back, the action has been initiated with Jungle Lodges. In view of this, CARE is not obliged to owe any amout to you.

I’ve had a word with the people who have been to rafting which we were discussing earlier and he has confirmed that they did the same stretch.
There are few more things to note.
1) We in fact thought our stretch was only 5kms and not 8 Kms going by the Distance we traveled forth and back.
2) The lunch provided should not be costing more than Rs 25/-. It was no where worth 100 Rs/-
3) There is high priority given to OZONE by CARE people in spite of having schedule in place.
4) There seems to be no transparency in terms of cost for adventure trip. The cost should justify the act and not a pro rata decision by a firm. There is in fact a discrepancy for same service by different groups as is evident below. Even if I go by your statement of Rs 940 in Sita River for 14Kms run it does not justify 8kms and Rs 700.
5) The Marketing Pictures in the Site shows some other locations and offers something else.
6) The Ride back to Camp from the destination had no consideration for Safety, which was more than just a ride back.
We are highly disappointed by the above.
I sincerely feel that CARE adventure owes this group 350 Rs /- back per person.
