Buying your first car is big thing in anyone’s life and all it takes to ruin is to purchase it from whitefield Honda. This service/showroom is located after the KR Puram flyover, Bangalore. They have one more office near Shivaji Nagar.
I liked the 2011 Honda city very much, It had good looks, a fuel efficient yet powerful 1.5Liter Petrol Engine. In this age where a Diesel Engine is a must Honda had none. With the petrol prices rising high each and every day honda sales for Nov and Dec are around 1000 units each where as Maruthi Alto only got sold around 23, 000 units in dec’11. So one can easily honda is not doing great.
Now by November end I got to know Honda city 2011 model’s were offered an additional 70, 000-1, 00, 000 discount. I immediately went to whitefield showroom to have a TD. They offered me 1, 00, 000 discount and went home happy. In the meanwhile I had to arrange money and I TD’ed Skoda Rapid and Fiat Linea. Although I liked linea I was apprehensive about tata’s a.s.s.
Finally I arranged money and when I went to book the car they increased the price by 30, 000rs. Their sales executive have no manners, they behaved in a rude manner and all the other Honda dealers(magnum and Dakshin) did not have this 2011 model.
So I had to pay 30, 000Rs more to buy the car of my choice from a dealer I had no choice. The accessories they fitted were very cheap. The Sunfilm they applied was not of my choice. They change their word all the time. This is what I hate. When you are buying 10 lakhs car they should at least satisfy what they promise.
Honda has a good brand value but this dealer is only concerned about his profit. Since not many honda cars are getting sold these days they want to milk customers like me to get their profits.
So, in short I would suggest to avoid this dealer unless there is no other option.
