“Every new Book – a new Journey”
As we explore the world of books, each book gives us great jaunting experience. While traveling we do discover, laugh, cry, admire, acquire, hate, love…. a lot(indeed list is endless). Let me confess that I have visited only very few books. Among them “Who Moved My Cheese?” by Spencer Johnson is an ever cherishing journey. Let me share my delightful travel experience.

Station 1:- A Gathering
Here we can meet a group of friends who have assembled for a chit chat. They discuss about their changes in life and agree that things have certainly turned out differently than they thought and notice that they often "dont want to change when things change." Then, one of them relates the story of Who Moved My Cheese? to the others.
Station 2:-The Story
The story revolves around four characters Sniff, Scurry, Hem and Haw living in a maze. Their only task is to catch hold of cheese. They found a gratified cheese store and ensconced happily. Sniff and Scury have traced out that, cheese station was draining out and they started chasing new cheese. Hem and Haw realized at the later stage, even though after some thoughtfulness Haw adapted to change but Hem remained unwilling to change.
Station 3:- A Discussion:
Here again we will come across those Gang of friends who talk over what the Story meant to them and how they are going to use it in their work and in their lives
Travel Guide-
Metaphors have been used in this book to convey the thoughts. Travel guide explicate out the metaphors as:-
Four characters= Human beings!
Maze= Where we dwell!
Cheese= What we aspire!
*Travel Tips-
* Like all other rides this one has also brought some brainstorms, however in a catching style.Its easy to say anything but difficult to follow.Still I must appreciate Johnson for his cautiousness in providing step by step cheeses and also for guiding how to handle check mates. Sounded like a useful reality check. I liked the simple ideology “Deal with the change and move on”.The journey is well suited for a one way trip, if u feel the cheeses are tasty, you can tour as many times you need.So why waiting?Board the Cheese Train, Taste the Cheese(Swallow or Chew or Digest), Get down in your Station(with some insights).
Happy journey!
