Some of the important points I learnt and follow from the book are:

  • It is not enough to be busy, so are the ants. The question is’What are you so busy about?’. You need to understand the difference between important things and urgent things. Average people are busy in doing urgent things while successful people spend their time wisely on important things.

  • Too many of us die in our twenties and buried at eighties. Understand the difference between surviving/staying and living.

  • Some books are to be tasted. Some are to be swallowed. Others are to be chewed and digested. Don’t read every book on the book store. Reading books is a good habit. Reading good books is a better habit.

  • Be more than your moods. Your success range should never depend on your mood.

  • Carry a goal card. Write your goals on some cards and always carry in your shirt pocket. Keep them literally close to your heart. It really helps you in achieving them faster.

  • Stop Complaining. Start Living. Add Value to yourself and to your society.

  • Enjoy the path, not just reward. Write a legacy statement which would be read by the next generations.

  • Honor your past. Treat your troubles as blessings.
