This is one show that I look forward to in the entire week! Everyone at home also knows how much I enjoy this show, and will ensure that nothing is planned at this time. Infact, I enjoy it most when the entire family is sitting for the show.
It comprises of 4 people who are the contestants. The show host is a character called Drew Carey, who has his own show as well on Star World, titled ’The Drew Carey Show’. These 4 people are required to be extremely quick-minded, as well as quick-witted! They are by nature great actors, and humourous too!!! My particular favourite is Ryan Stiles, who is so damn quick, and so funny! My next favourite is Wayne Brady. He is fantastic at making up songs on the spot. The show comprises of a variety of things: For example, the audience is asked to suggest some topic on which the contestants have to make up a song. Once one of the topics is accepted by the host, the music starts and each contestant belts out his/her song in his/her own humourous way! In another one, some scene is explained to the contestants, and they start acting it out, and the host calls out the names of some popular movies, and the contestants have to act out their scene on the lines of the movie!! Props are given out sometimes and the contestants have to illustrate how these props can be used. Innovativeness is the name of the game. This show is really really worth it.
I would suggest you sit back on some Wednesday night (9:30 PM--IST) and watch it on Star World. It helps me ease some of my tensions, as I really laugh my guts out watching it!!! My wife says she doesnt see me laughing this way any other time of the week
